GRIP HOLD is an amalgamation of fragments, images, texts, video and sound, assembled then destroyed; illusions of grandeur, of keeping one's feet on the ground, and of boys who spin the funfair waltzers.
This performance marks a distinctive turn to form; much playing with sumptuous materials, dazzling surfaces and 'fucking with syntax', disorientating and leaving little to hold onto.
The performance moves through various episodes or 'holes', binded together by repeated sounds and motifs. The work includes a video GRIP HOLD, and is followed by a surprise performance titled Bonus Track.
